The practice features two consultation rooms alongside a dedicated nurse consultation room, a notably spacious preparation area, a large waiting area, a designated imaging suite and a refurbished theatre equipped with new ultrasound, dental and radiography machines. A comfortable staff room further enhances what is widely regarded as a genuinely enjoyable place to work.
Out-of-hours care is provided by an emergency hospital in Richmond, which is equipped with a full CT suite and advanced facilities. This is where your weekend rota will be based. The practice benefits from strong career development opportunities, including support for postgraduate study
The experienced team includes a Head Nurse and a dedicated patient and client care team, all of whom are committed to delivering an exceptional standard of service while fostering a supportive and collaborative working culture. Although the role is sole charge, there is a strong working relationship with nearby branches, ensuring clinical support is readily available for more complex medical or surgical cases.
The practice serves an area with a high feline population and manages a significant caseload of cat neutering procedures, supported by participation in London charity neutering schemes.
This opportunity offers the chance to lead and develop a small, close-knit team, shaping the continued growth of the practice while delivering a high-quality and valued service to the local community. The caseload is varied and includes a range of interesting cases.
The position is part time, working up to 30 hours per week with a 1:6 weekend rota.

Annual leave starts at five weeks plus bank holidays, rising to six weeks with length of service, Clinical CPD is supported with a £1,500 annual allowance and three days’ paid leave, alongside internal CPD opportunities and access to clinical communities. Funded certificate opportunities are available, and professional fees including VDS, RCVS and BVA are covered.
