Our client is looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to work mainly in the Yeovil and the possibility of covering the branch nearby.
The clinics have a wide client base of small animal, farm, and equine clients in both Somerset and Dorset. Over the years, the practice has expanded with a small animal surgery in Yeovil and equine branches located nearby. The clinic has always strived for the highest in client and animal care, this move increases the resources available to the practice to keep achieving this. There are 10 Veterinary Surgeons, as they are a mixed practice some work between large and small animal caseloads, 5 registered veterinary nurses, 2 Trainee nurses and a support team of 13. Across the sites, they have 2 certificate holders, and they specialise in Laparoscopic spays. They hold regular events for team-building purposes and support local charities, events and shows, and they hold regular meetings for the farming community.
This is a full time role to work 40 hours over 4.5 days and Saturdays on a 1:3 rota but no OOH’s. Salary is up to £60k pa DOE.
