 This team in St Austell have just been awarded the Vet Team of the Year award, and for good reason.
Their bustling, RCVS practice standards accredited GP practice in St Austell is expanding! The Practice is built to industry-leading standards. With all the equipment expected from a thriving GP practice. Including exciting expansion plans in the near future.
Location: Nestled in one of the largest towns in Cornwall, they enjoy a great community spirit, local amenities, and the breathtaking coastal and country views of Cornwall just a short drive away.
Since establishment in 2016, they’ve grown into an extremely successful business and The team's dedication is evident in our low colleague turnover 
You'll join a stable team of 2.5 vets, with one studying for a Small Animal Medicine Certificate. Complemented by an exceptional team of 2.5 RVNs, 1 VCA, 1 student Nurse, and a 4-strong front-of-house team, all supported by the Practice Manager who is also a qualified RVN and Mental Health First Aider.
They offer Well-structured days with consults given 15 minutes as standard.
Daily team gatherings, quarterly meetings, and regular informal check-ins to foster camaraderie.
Flexibility: Consideration of various working hours (ideally 22-30 hours/week with some Saturdays).
Supportive mentorship environment for both experienced vets and new graduates.
Your Benefits:
Salary starting from £40,000 for a new graduate, increasing with experience, plus paid overtime!
No out-of-hours or Sundays.
Paid holiday of 28 days, rising to 33 days after 2 years.
Paid professional memberships including RCVS and BVA.
Generous CPD allowance and time off, including funding towards Certificates after 1 year.
Life assurance 4 x annual salary, contributory pension scheme, and cycle to work scheme.
