Medical/Inpatient Veterinary Surgeon
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum FTE (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Part-Time applications welcome)
Hours: 3 days per week (7:45 am–8:15 pm) Monday to Wednesday, plus 1 in 4 weekends (Opportunity to go full-time if preferred).

My Client are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with a keen interest in medicine and inpatient care to join the dedicated team. You will be responsible for managing the continuity of care for hospitalised patients, overseeing examinations, care plans, and liaising with clients and colleagues for advanced treatments when needed. This role also involves supervising the handover of care to the night team, and on occasion, attending to emergencies.

This is a 24/7 Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital, offering a wide range of services from primary care to complex surgeries and referrals. With 11 sites across Yorkshire, they foster a collaborative and inclusive environment, with a shared commitment to clinical excellence and patient care. This role would be based across two site in the Wakefield area.
The Team includes Vets working towards certificates in Surgery, Imaging, Dermatology, Medicine, ECC, and Ophthalmology. They are proud to be a Cat-Friendly Clinic and are working towards becoming Investors in the Environment at Bronze level.
