As Lead Vet, the successful candidate does not have to be seen as "the longest qualified", "holding the most certificates" or "doing the most complex surgeries". This Lead Veterinary Surgeon Vacancy is more about ensuring the vets and nurses in the team are working to the best of their abilities, being continuously clinically challenged, working effectively.
The role works across 3 practices all situated closely together and time will be spent in all 3, but most of the time will be in the main hospital which equipped to a very high standard.
Much of the administrative burden of the this type of role is handled by the Practice Manager leaving the Lead Veterinary Surgeon to drive the clinical growth of the practice.
For experienced vets with practice ownership in their thoughts, there is the potential if required for this role to develop into a partnership either immediately or after a bedding in period.
The salary for this role is up to £70,000 and has bonus potential of a further £15,000. Other benefits include:

- 1 in 6 weekends
