Our client based near Luton is looking for a Clinical Director to lead the team.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Practice Manager and Head Nurse supporting and mentoring colleagues and setting clinical & professional objectives to achieve best practice in colleague, patient, and client care. You will undertake a clinical role including surgery and consultations and play a crucial role in steering the practice towards excellence and growth together with the senior leadership team. You will be responsible for the financial performance of the practice and to follow company policies and procedures and promote this within the team.

The clinic is situated in Luton and is RCVS accredited and aiming for cat friendly status. They have 3 large consulting rooms, a spacious theatre, prep area, dental suite and diagnostics room. The practice also has digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, pharmacy and an in-house IDEXX laboratory for all of your clinical needs. They encourage and fund CPD and certificates for staff to grow and develop. The practice has a carpark and is situated near Luton airport and with 3 train stations nearby, commuting is very easy.

The friendly team comprises of Veterinary Surgeons, Registered and Student Veterinary Nurses, Care Assistants, and a full team of Receptionists, alongside a Practice Manager. All of who are passionate and take great pride in their work to provide the highest standards in patient and client care.  The Veterinary Surgeons will always talk through all options of care with their clients to ensure they are making the most informed choices, and they work closely with various referral practices to be able to offer that option if required.

The rota is up to 40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days, with 1:3 Saturdays 8:30am – 12:30pm. No bank holidays, Sundays or out-of-hours as we are covered by VetsNow.
