Our client has 2 purpose-built practices in the both Kendal area, they are now looking for a Full Time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team.

You will be joining a fantastic team of caring and professional vets, nurses, and support staff. Both premises are fully equipped to a high standard with digital X rays, ECG, Ultrasound and Idexx Lab machines and much more. One practice is on the edge of The Lake District known for its beautiful lakes, rugged fell mountains and historic literary associations and the other has the Yorkshire Dales on its doorstep best known for its stunning scenery and great natural attractions such as Malham Cove and Aysgarth Falls.

There is a team of 15 vets split between farm and small animal with 8 RVNs and 1 SVN and to compliment that there is a team of 12 full and part time support staff across the two sites. There are certificate holders in Cardiology and Advanced Veterinary Practice along with Cattle Health and Production and Diploma in Bovine Reproduction. The practice has been in Kendal for over 100 years and is well established with a loyal client base and they pride themselves on offering a personal but friendly service to the local communities.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic team player to be based at the Kendal practice.  You will be involved in delivering a high standard of care to a variety of companion animal cases and the occasional farm animal. A typical day can be theatre, in patient care, lab work and nurse clinics. There may be the occasional holiday cover at the nearby branch. Salary of up to £25,000 FTE depending on experience. You will be a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys all aspects of practice and wants to be part of a friendly experienced team whether newly qualified or few years of working experience.
