Our client has a sucessful practice in St Helens and is looking for a Full Time Small Animal Vet to join them.

They currently have 6 Vets, with 4.5 FTE, 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 1 Student Veterinary Nurse. They pride themselves in looking after the staff's well-being, alongside providing high standards of patient care. Vets are currently working towards certificates in diagnostic imaging and ophthalmology. They work closely with surgery and medicine certificate holders in their sister practice 15 minutes away.  Their team really enjoy sharing their knowledge, over the last 5 years they have had 4 new graduates, who are all still with them and are starting to undertake further studies with them and have progressed into senior roles within the practice. 

They have monthly well-being afternoons, where they block out the diary and do activities together as a team - including sports day, quizzes and pancake making. All staff have 2 well-being days, in addition to their annual leave and these have been used in the past for spa days and Christmas shopping, amongst other reasons. They also offer 2 wellbeing days per year, 2 paid paternity days if you get a new pet, 5 charity days and health cover with Simply Health.

The current Clinic Director is due to head off on Maternity leave and the clinic continues to grow, they are looking for their 7th Veterinary Surgeon to join this forward thinking, highly progressive team. Confident and professional, you will be able to work with sole charge. You will relate to their core principles of quality, integrity, responsibility, and growth, fitting seamlessly alongside the friendly practice teams as you work with team to provide a quality experience for pet owner and pets alike.

The full-time team members work 40 hours per week however they would also be interested in speaking to those who are looking for part time or more flexible working. There is a requirement to participate in the Saturday rota however no requirement for Out of Hours. This is a new role and they would consider flexibility with work across the 2 sites or a single site, and part time hours available.

Salary for this position is up to £60k pa DOE and there is a relocation allowance of up to £5k if required.
