Our client’s practice is based near Weston Super Mare and the team are now looking for a Full or Part Time Small Animal Vet to join the team.

The area offers an enjoyable lifestyle for its residents due to its convenient amenities and proximity to both urban and natural attractions. This is a family-friendly area, with high quality schools and fantastic entertainment venues for the weekends. Transport links are good only 1 mile from the M5 motorway and only 15 miles from Bristol airport. The railway station has direct services to London Paddington and Bristol Temple Meads, Taunton and Cardiff Central. 

The clinic has modern equipment of general practice at your disposal : Idexx haematology and biochemistry, microscopy, ultrasound with doppler, digital xray DR system, dental DR, multiparameter monitor, electrocautery and a therapeutic laser machine.  There is a superb nursing team who are encouraged to contribute at every level, building great relations with their loyal clients. The teams motto is “treating pets like family” but they also extend this to treating their colleagues like family. They are lucky enough to be well supported by a great team with a wealth of experience and they pride themselves on running clinics that meet the needs of the local community.

The ideal candidate is someone with a positive contribution to make, fresh ideas and a collaborative approach to growing the practice, allowing you as a talented vet to enjoy your role to the full.   Bring your enthusiasm, sense of humour and a love for the job and meet a warm welcome. They are happy to discuss both full time (over 4 days) or part time hours for this role. There are no OOH duties and they can discuss flexibility within your rota and allow for a health work/life balance. The Saturday rota is 1 in 4, they are well supported by the local neighbouring friendly OOH service provider.
