Our client has a modern purpose-built practice, located on the Norfolk/Suffolk border.  The clinic is close to the sea, boasting some of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the country, yet only 15 miles from the city of Norwich. The local area is diverse with many lovely walks, lots of wildlife and the chance to partake in water-based activities including stand up paddle boarding, sailing, and kayaking.

The practice is fully equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy. There is a supportive team of registered and student nurses, animal nursing assistants and support staff. There are 2 Senior Veterinary Surgeons, 3 qualified Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, 3 Animal Nursing Assistants and 6 reception/admin staff.

The ideal candidate will be a caring and enthusiastic Vet with the desire to work to a high clinical standard. Experience is preferred but they are open to vets with less experience as support will be provided by senior staff. Vets are encouraged to work up their own cases wherever possible and hope to introduce regular case discussion sessions giving clinical staff the opportunity to share their experience and knowledge

The client has a flexible working approach so the position is open to full and part time applications. The successful candidate will be a caring and enthusiastic Vet with the desire to work to a high clinical standard. Communication skills and the ability to work as part of a close-knit team are paramount. You will need to be MRCVS registered and able to work in the UK. CPD is encouraged and funded. Accommodation is available if required. The working pattern is typically a 4-day week and 1:4 Saturday mornings with no out of hours. The rota allows for a great work/life balance. Salary is up to £63,000 depending on experience and there is a relocation allowance of up to £5k.
