Our client has a 4-branch group, with a range of excellent equipment and a brand new practice that has been fully refurbished.  They are now looking for an experienced Small Animal Vet to join the team.

There is digital x-ray, ultrasound, in house laboratory, superior surgery suite with seperate imaging and dental rooms along with an open plan prep area. They offer a high level of clinical care at a competitive price and pride themselves on a great work/life balance. The branch is newly refurbished with a large spacious waiting area and 3 consulting rooms. There is a seperate section for cats and dogs in addition to a warming welcoming reception area. The clinical area has cat and dog inpatient wards and excellent surgical facilities.

The practice is home to 2 Vets, one with a very keen interest in internal medicine and imaging and an experienced Vet that has been with the practice for over 10 years. The nursing team are all qualified Registered Veterinary Nurses supported by placement Student Veterinary Nurses and a team of wonderful Receptionists. The clinical team are supported by the Clinical Directors who are readily available to assist with clinical cases and advice.

The role will include consultations, routine surgery and neutering and emergency consultations. The rota will include working 3 or 4 days per week. Full time work available which will be 40 hours involved then part time hours being 27.5hrs per week. There will be a 1:4 Saturday rota, no on call or out of hours.

Ideally you will have at least 1 year+ in small animal practice. It is desirable that you drive and have access to a car and be flexible to cover holidays/sickness at any other branch within the practice group.
