Our client has a 100% Small Animal practice based near Rugby who are looking for a Full Time Veterinary Nurse to join them.

The clinic is ideally situated for road and rail networks but also surrounded by lovely countryside. They have easy access to nearby Coventry and Leamington as well as only being 50 mins from London by train. There is a large, loyal client base and they pride themselves on case continuity. They are very passionate about client education and use their website and social media to help provide this.

The team is made up of 7 vets and 10 nurses, with excellent support from 4 receptionists and 3 administrators. They encourage their vets to pursue their personal interests and have several team members studying for medicine, ophthalmology, and feline certificates. Across the team, there is a range of interests including orthopaedics, soft-tissue surgery, and imaging. Whilst you will need to be competent in all aspects of veterinary nursing, they allow the teams interests to flourish and grow.

The ideal candidate is an experienced nurse who is confident in all aspects of routine nursing. Your day-to-day duties will include anaesthesia, in-patient care, nurse-led clinics, and wider clinical skills. You will be passionate about preventative health care and an interest in client education and using social media to provide this, would be useful. You will be a qualified RVN, who is keen, enthusiastic, motivated, and dynamic. Helping clients and their pets will be at the heart of everything you do and you will have a passion for helping the practice to thrive.  Ideally this role is for 30 hours per week, with weekends split equally amongst the nursing team. Although there are no out of hours duties there are inpatients who require overnight care.
