Our client has an amazing opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a full or part time basis near Newbury.

This is a well-equipped small friendly practice who love learning and teaching, established for 62 years, they really are part of the community. They have a large number of clients who have been registered with them for many years and these long-term relationships are key to the practice success. You will be joining a team of 4 Veterinary Surgeons, supported by a dedicated 9 support team and 5 full time RVNs. The vets are split across three branches, but the nursing team, work most of the time in Newbury.

Full time would be 40 hours per week and 1 Saturday AM in every 4, paid as overtime and no out of hours. The client is open to part time candidates and can consider any desired working hours around commitments or childcare, they can be flexible. They are looking for a qualified RVN, the role would equally suit a new graduate or a candidate with more experience. There is very much the opportunity to develop the role to suit you and they encourage CPD allowing you to develop your own areas of interest.

The role is the full mix of veterinary nursing, no day is the same, they actively encourage the nurses to fully use their skills taking radiographs, taking bloods samples, and starting intravenous fluids in addition to the more routine tasks. The practice is developing the nursing clinics with most of the diabetics managed by the nursing team.  Salary is up to £30k pa.
