Our client on the outskirts of south Birmingham are looking for an experienced sole charge Veterinary Surgeon capable of delivering high quality and personable veterinary care in a busy and demanding environment. Established in 1996, this is a friendly & compassionate group with 3 practices and a pet fitness & rehab centre in Worcestershire. They provide a 24/7 out of hours service from one of the practices.
The team work closely to deliver excellent customer service going the extra mile to satisfy the needs and wants of their diverse client range. They create opportunities for the whole team to come together through practice meetings and social events and encourage interest and participation within teams and the entire practice to think creatively to enable them to continuously improve their services and their business.
The team have the facilities and resources for overnight care giving you the option to admit patients and know that they are safe and cared for on the premises. You will work 4 full days per week and have a share in the weekend and night duty vet rota.
The successful applicant will be as happy in the consult room as in theatre. You will need the ability to work in an environment that is both fun and demanding. You will require some resilience, energy and stamina as well as good clinical knowledge and sound judgement. You will be expected to adopt the teams working culture of putting the client first, communicating clearly and openly.
In addition to a generous salary of up to £65k based upon experienced you will also receive up to £5k welcome bonus and up to £5k relocation allowance and can also enjoy the following benefits;
• 6.6 weeks annual leave
• 5 days paid CPD leave
• £1250 CPD Allowance per annum
• Private Medical Insurance
• VDS Membership paid
• BVA Membership paid
