 Night Veterinary Surgeon – Manchester hospital
If you're a Veterinary Surgeon who thrives in the quiet calm (or busy bustle!) of the night shift, I’d  love to hear from you. We can discuss joining my clients friendly and capable night team, where you’ll deliver exceptional out-of-hours care and truly make a difference when it matters most.

This 24 hour hospital site is a 5–6 vet practice with big plans for growth. You'll be supported throughout your shift by an experienced Night RVN and a Twilight PCA to assist during peak hours. They are seeking someone with a caring, collaborative attitude who takes pride in patient care and communicates clearly with the day team to ensure seamless handovers.
•    Pattern: 7 nights on, 21 nights off – plenty of time to rest, reset, or pursue other interests.
•    OOH experience is desirable, but not essential – we’ll support the right person to succeed.

What You'll Be Doing
•    Delivering outstanding clinical care to emergency and in-patient cases
•    Providing clear, compassionate client communication
•    Managing overnight cases with confidence and consistency
•    Ensuring smooth, accurate clinical handovers
•    Supporting the wider clinical team and mentoring colleagues where appropriate

You will be :
•    RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
•    Skilled in emergency care and confident with overnight caseloads
•    Excellent communicator, especially during handovers

•    Committed to continuous improvement and patient-first care
