Farm Clinical Director – South East Cornwall
Salary: £65,000–£80,000 (depending on experience)
Full-time | 4 or 5-day week – your choice
My client are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Farm Clinical Director to join a dedicated farm-only veterinary practice in South East Cornwall. This senior clinical role offers the opportunity to take a leadership position within the vet team, working closely with the Farm Practice Manager to shape the overall performance and strategic direction of the practice.
As Farm Clinical Director, you will provide clinical guidance and oversight, ensuring the team delivers the highest standards of veterinary care. You will take the lead on clinical standards, support the Farm Practice Manager, and oversee the delivery of government OV work. The role involves delivering high-quality clinical services to clients, with opportunities to focus on proactive, consultancy-led dairy work. You will also join an on-call rota of just 1 in 12, supported by a dedicated night vet covering half the schedule.
The team comprises seven farm vets, three ATT, and a veterinary technician, all passionate about delivering proactive, high-quality care across beef, sheep, and dairy. They provide innovation, collaboration, and support, embracing novel herd health planning, preventative medicine, and progressive clinical approaches.
They can offer you a competitive salary of £65,000–£80,000, flexible working with the choice of a four or five-day week, and a supportive on-call rota. You will have the chance to play a senior clinical role in a farm-only practice with no small animal work. Additional benefits include generous holiday (6.6 weeks including bank holidays), funded CPD, veterinary fee discounts, enhanced parental leave, Healthshield contributions for wellbeing treatments, discounts, and ongoing mentoring from other experienced Senior Clinical Directors
This role is ideal for a confident and motivated farm vet with a passion for clinical leadership and supporting colleagues. While leadership experience is beneficial, it is not essential; they will provide support for the right candidate looking to step into a senior role.
Located in beautiful South East Cornwall, the practice offers rolling countryside, coastal access, and a welcoming rural community. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your career in a practice committed to excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
