My lovely client on Anglesey is seeking an experienced Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join its team. The practice provides comprehensive care for small animals, farm animals, and equine patients, delivering veterinary services across Anglesey, Gwynedd, and Conwy.
The practice is committed to delivering high standards of healthcare within a friendly and supportive environment. Its team is made up of experienced and enthusiastic veterinary surgeons, nurses, and support colleagues, many of whom bring specialist expertise across a wide range of animal health disciplines. As part of its dedication to excellent care, the practice operates its own 24-hour, 365-day emergency service for large animals and equine patients.
Located in the scenic surroundings of North West Wales, the area offers an exceptional quality of life, with opportunities for walking, surfing, and a variety of outdoor pursuits. The team fosters a positive and collaborative workplace culture, placing strong emphasis on colleague wellbeing.
This is a full-time, permanent position, with flexibility to consider a four- or five-day working week or part-time arrangements. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently as well as collaboratively across multiple sites. Participation in the out-of-hours rota is required, including one night per week and one weekend in five.
The role offers a competitive salary of £35,000–£45,000 and a comprehensive benefits package. This includes 6.6 weeks of paid holiday (including bank holidays), an annual CPD allowance of £1,750, paid RCVS membership and two additional professional subscriptions, and VDS cover.
