My client are looking for an ambitious and motivated veterinary surgeon to step into a leadership role at a well-established, community-focused clinic. This is a rare opportunity to develop your career with the full support of an experienced team and a trusted regional network behind you.
You’ll be joining a friendly and loyal client base that values continuity of care, giving you the ideal platform to build long-lasting relationships and offer truly exceptional service. They are particularly interested in hearing from vets with a passion for dermatology or ophthalmology. If you already hold a certificate or are working towards one, this role gives you the chance to build and grow a dedicated service around your clinical interests.
You’ll be supported by a capable and committed team, including a nursing team with over four decades of combined experience and a highly skilled vet with nearly 30 years in practice who also offers acupuncture as part of her clinical repertoire. Two days per week will involve sole charge, giving you clinical autonomy, while still being able to collaborate with nearby hospitals
The practice itself is fully equipped with digital dental x-ray, an in-house lab, a Tonopen, and access to laparoscopic equipment at one of the neighboring clinics. With a varied caseload and engaged clients, each day offers an opportunity to practice progressive medicine and make a real impact.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be confident across both medicine and surgery, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high standards of care. You should be comfortable leading by example and mentoring others, and ideally have experience or a strong interest in dermatology or ophthalmology.
In return, They offer a highly competitive package including a quarterly bonus scheme, private medical insurance and a health cash plan from your first day, and five weeks of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service. You’ll also receive an additional paid ‘Day for You’ to spend however you choose.
