Veterinary Surgeon – Tier 3 RCVS Hospital, Leicester
Permanent | Full-time & Part-time Options | Flexible Working Patterns Available
Salary: Up to £70,000 (DOE) + Relocation Support
Hours: 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days – your choice!
Weekend Rota: 1 in 4 Saturdays (8:30am–2pm) and 1 in 15 Sundays (8am–7pm, paid extra)
No night shifts – There’s a dedicated night team!

•    Work with the Best: Collaborate with certificate holders in ECC, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, and soft tissue surgery.
•    Modern Equipment: In-house CT, video endoscopy, ASIF kit, TPLO/TTA/Tightrope, arthroscopy, advanced ophthalmology tools, and dental suites with dental X-ray.

They are Looking For
•    RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with at least 2 years of GP experience
•    Confident with:
o    Routine neutering (including flank spays)
o    Abdominal ultrasound, TFAST, and AFAST
o    Emergency surgeries: GDV, splenectomy, laparotomy, gastrotomy/enterotomy
o    15-minute consults and standard dental procedures
