Veterinary Surgeon – Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)
Part-Time or Full-Time Opportunity
Darlington, County Durham
My Client in Darlington are offering a 12-month fixed term contract. with part-time hours available from 24 hours per week up to full-time (40 hours per week).
The practice is situated in the attractive market town of Darlington, offering excellent rail and road connections. Teesside International Airport is also within easy reach, providing convenient access for both domestic and European travel.
This is one of two local branches and has built a loyal client base over many years, focusing on consultations and preventative healthcare. Following recent renovations, the practice has expanded its services to include outpatient surgical procedures.
The other site is a five-vet site with a Head RVN and a strong, clinically led nursing team. This site is RCVS accredited and holds ISFM Silver Standard Cat Friendly status, with facilities to undertake a broad range of major surgical procedures.
The role includes a 1 in 6 weekend rota (09:00–19:00) Flexible working patterns will be considered, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
In addition to a supportive clinical environment, the position offers a comprehensive benefits package. Funded certificates and clear internal career pathways are also available.
Professional memberships (RCVS, VDS and BVA) are fully funded. Relocation support and visa sponsorship can be considered for suitable candidates.
