Are you an experienced veterinary surgeon ready to take the next step in your career, or an ambitious Clinical Director looking for a new challenge? My clients are seeking a leader passionate about driving clinical excellence, nurturing team growth, and shaping the future of our long-established, highly respected practice.
About the Role
As Clinical Director, you will have the opportunity to oversee both clinical and operational aspects of the practice. You’ll lead a talented and collaborative team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care while promoting professional development, continuous improvement, and innovation. With a focus on both people and patients, you’ll help drive performance, growth, and the ongoing success of the practice.
About the Practice
This Practice has been providing outstanding care for over 20 years. The purpose-built facilities include two dedicated surgical theatres, a fully equipped dental suite with dental x-ray capabilities, a new ultrasound machine, digital x-ray, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and an in-house lab covering biochemistry, haematology, and cytology. They are proud to hold Silver ISFM Cat Friendly Practice status and Dog’s Trust Dog Friendly Clinic recognition, with separate wards for dogs and cats to reduce stress for our hospitalised patients.
The culture is collaborative, supportive, and built on respect, compassion, and shared passion for animal welfare. They value work-life balance, offering a four-day work week, structured breaks including time for administrative tasks, regular team-building activities, and a focus on staff wellbeing.
They are seeking a veterinary leader with proven experience in practice management and clinical excellence. You will have strong communication skills, a client-focused ethos, and a commitment to quality improvement, education, and team development.
Benefits
They offer five weeks’ holiday plus bank holidays and birthday leave, funded CPD and extensive online learning through Linnaeus, RCVS and VDS fees paid, life assurance, enhanced family leave and sickness pay, staff discounts, wellness programs, and opportunities for career progression. Additional perks include an e-car salary sacrifice scheme, recruitment referral rewards, cycle to work scheme, flu vaccination, and eyecare vouchers.
If you are ready to lead a supportive, high-performing team and make a real impact on patient care, we would love to hear from you.
