Veterinary Surgeon – Sittingbourne
Supportive Team | Varied Caseload | No OOH | Flexible Working | Up to £60K DOE
Looking for a practice where your development is supported, your input is valued, and the team genuinely enjoys working together? Join my client in Sittingbourne Vets4Pets, where where they are passionate about delivering exceptional care to patients—and cake-fuelled support to each other!
They’ve been at the heart of the Sittingbourne community for over 8 years and are proud of the strong reputation they have built for being friendly, approachable, and trusted by clients. The team includes 2 experienced vets, 5 talented RVNs, a brilliant VCA, and a supportive reception crew—a tight-knit team who always make time for each other.
The practice is well-equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, and a thoughtful approach to care—the x-ray room transforms into a calm, non-clinical space for peaceful euthanasia, because compassion matters at every stage.
They handle a broad mix of first opinion cases as well as orthopaedic surgeries, making it a great place to expand your surgical skills or develop an area of special interest.
They’re searching for a friendly and confident veterinary surgeon, ideally with 2+ years’ experience, who enjoys the variety of general practice and thrives in a collaborative environment. You’ll be competent in routine medicine and surgery and open to learning more complex procedures. Great communication, a flexible mindset, and a strong focus on animal welfare are a must.
Recent graduates with a strong interest in surgery are welcome to apply—they have the experience and team structure to provide excellent support and mentorship.
