This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and customer-focused Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at my client’s Bristol surgery. As a key member of the practice, you’ll play an integral role in delivering outstanding clinical care and exceptional customer service. Your work will involve preventive healthcare, diagnosing and treating sick and injured pets, and promoting overall pet wellbeing with genuine passion and commitment.
They are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with around three years or more in practice, who combines excellent clinical knowledge with great communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. You’ll work closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to provide the very best care for patients and clients, ensuring a supportive and collaborative environment for everyone.
The full-time Vets typically enjoy a four-day working week, with a consistent day off to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Shifts are nine hours long and include a varied mix of consulting and surgical responsibilities across the week. To make sure you have time for everything, each day includes a dedicated hour for admin tasks built directly into your schedule. The weekend rota runs on a 1-in-4 pattern.

At the surgery Bristol surgery, you’ll join a talented team of five vets who work a mix of full- and part-time hours, supported by a Head Nurse, five other RVNs, and a dedicated Client Experience Team. The vets work four days a week, with shift times varying between 8:00–5:30, 9:30–7:00, and 10:30–8:00.
