An exciting opportunity is available for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the welcoming and dedicated team close to Clapton and Woodberry down This well-established London practice has built a loyal client base and enjoys a strong reputation for delivering high-quality veterinary care within a supportive and collaborative environment.
You will be working alongside a friendly and experienced team of veterinary surgeons, nurses, and front-of-house colleagues who are committed to providing excellent patient care. This supportive structure allows you to focus on developing your clinical skills while maintaining a high standard of care for both patients and clients. The practice culture is one that values teamwork, professional growth, and open communication.
Located in the vibrant and diverse area of Stamford Hill in North-East London, the practice benefits from excellent transport connections, including Overground services and multiple bus routes, offering easy access to both the City and Canary Wharf. The local area combines leafy residential streets with independent cafés, local shops, and a strong sense of community, making it an enjoyable place to work and spend time outside of the clinic.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week across four days, providing a healthy work–life balance. The weekend rota includes one in three Saturdays within the branch or one in six full weekends at sister hospital, offering variety and exposure to a wider caseload.
In addition to a competitive salary, the role offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your wellbeing and career development. Professional development is strongly encouraged, with a £1,500 annual CPD allowance, three paid CPD days, access to internal CPD and clinical communities, and funded certificate opportunities. Your VDS, RCVS, and BVA fees will be covered, and longer-term benefits include a sabbatical based on length of service and support with Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa and relocation where required.
