Veterinary Surgeon – First Opinion
South Manchester
Full-Time (4-Day Week) | Ad-Hoc Evenings & Weekends | No On-Call

My client are on the lookout for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, supportive, and forward-thinking team. With a strong clinical caseload, Tier 3 hospital facilities, and in-house referrals, this is a fantastic opportunity to deliver top-tier veterinary care and take your career to the next level.

About the Role
• First opinion role with a 4-day working week
• Some ad-hoc evening shifts (5pm–11pm) and weekend work on a fair rota
• No on-call duties – their own 24-hour hospital handles emergency care
• Occasional sole charge, so prior experience is essential
You’ll work across a 7-branch group, supported by a talented team of vets, nurses, and a multi-disciplinary, certificate-holding referral team. Offering an exciting, varied caseload and the opportunity to work cases up to the highest standards.

What You’ll Have Access To
You’ll benefit from state-of-the-art equipment and resources, including:
• Advanced diagnostic imaging – CT scanner, visiting MRI
• Doppler echocardiography and full ultrasound suite
• Direct digital radiography and dental radiography
• Flexible and rigid endoscopy
• Laparoscopy, fluoroscopy & electrocautery
• Advanced anaesthesia monitoring
• In-house lab and comprehensive support from their OOH and referral hospital
