I’m working with a lovely practice close to Stoke on Trent, in Newcastle Under Lyme. The practice has a long-established and friendly client base that values the personal service provided. The team is fully supportive and works under the leadership of it’s partner. Who creates a welcoming and collaborative environment.
The practice itself is thoughtfully designed, featuring a spacious reception area alongside two veterinary consulting rooms and a dedicated nurse consulting room. Clinical facilities include a prep and theatre area, digital X-ray and ultrasound equipment, well-equipped wards, and comprehensive in-house laboratory resources, ensuring a high standard of care.
There is a strong focus on professional growth and career development. Team members are supported through access to in-house clinical communities, where knowledge is shared through case discussions and best practice learning. Opportunities exist across several areas, including medicine, surgery, diagnostic imaging, ophthalmology, and exotics, offering scope to develop expertise and potentially connect with future mentors.
The role is offered on a full-time basis, typically covering 40 hours per week, with plans to introduce a weekend rota of one in three Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00.

Annual leave starts at five weeks plus bank holidays and increases with service,
Ongoing learning is actively encouraged, with a £1,500 CPD allowance, three days of paid CPD leave each year, and access to internal training, clinical communities, and 24-hour hospital support. Funded certificates and structured career pathways are also available.
Additional support includes payment of professional fees (RCVS, VDS, and BVA), as well as relocation assistance and visa sponsorship where required. Sabbatical opportunities are also offered, depending on length of service.
