My client has a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a great team in Chingford area
They are looking for an experienced vet with a few years in practice, including a minimum of one year working within the UK. The successful candidate will bring a real passion for early diagnostics, a commitment to delivering and following through on treatment plans, and an enthusiasm for continual professional growth. You’ll be responsible for providing preventative healthcare, diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions, and ensuring every case is managed with care and consistency. A genuine dedication to animal wellbeing is essential, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive, close-knit team of clinical and non-clinical colleagues.
Their full-time Veterinary Surgeons typically work a four-day week, including a regular day off to support a healthy work-life balance. Each shift lasts nine hours and offers a varied mix of consulting and surgical duties throughout the week. They also allocate a dedicated hour each day for administrative tasks, allowing you to stay organised and focused. Weekend work follows a one-in-four rota pattern.
They understand that flexibility matters. If you’re seeking an alternative schedule or working arrangement, they’re always happy to discuss what could work best for you. They value balance and are committed to helping the team find it.
To ensure colleagues feel supported and appreciated, they offer a generous benefits package. This includes quarterly recognition payments, enhanced maternity and paternity pay, income protection, an electric car scheme, and access to employee benefits and discounts. You’ll also benefit from wellbeing support, funded professional memberships, a competitive CPD allowance, internal leadership development, and 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays. Discounts for your own pets’ care are also available.
You’ll be working in a modern, purpose-built practice equipped with exceptional facilities and a passionate team dedicated to providing the highest standard of care around the clock. Clinicians bring a wide range of specialisms to the table, with many already holding or working toward advanced certificates to further enhance their expertise and the services provided.
If you’re an experienced vet looking to join a supportive, forward-thinking team where your skills, wellbeing, and growth truly matter, we’d love to hear from you.
