This practice close to Hatfield is excited to welcome a new vet to a supportive practice, conveniently located close to the town with free carparking With a loyal client base, excellent facilities, and a team dedicated to top-tier pet healthcare, this role offers the perfect balance of professional fulfillment and a friendly workplace atmosphere.
The purpose-built practice is equipped to industry-leading standards, featuring digital X-ray, a spacious prep area, ultrasound, dedicated theatre, in-house lab, and separate wards for dogs, cats, and isolation cases. You’ll work alongside a growing team of 2 vets, 2 nurses, an SVN, a Practice Manager, and a small support team—all driven by a shared passion for pets and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
They’re seeking a compassionate vet with solid experience in routine surgery and medicine, along with a fondness for small furries. Ideal candidates will value strong relationships with clients, enjoy collaborative teamwork, and be confident in some sole-charge responsibilities with nursing support. Role Details
Hours: Part-time, 20-25 hours per week (8-10 hour shifts)
Weekend Rota: 1 in 3 Saturdays (9-12:30), no Sundays
No OOH: Dedicated work hours without out-of-hours responsibilities
Sole Charge: Some sole-charge shifts with a supportive nursing team
