We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients progressive, supportive, and friendly team,  working across two well-equipped branches in Oldbury and Halesowen. This close-knit, diverse team includes seven vets, four RVNs, five SVNs, and a fantastic group of support staff, all working together to provide gold-standard care for patients. Professional growth and clinical excellence are at the core of everything.
The Oldbury site is a 24/7 practice supported by a dedicated night team, offering you the chance to work with a varied caseload ranging from routine consultations to emergency surgeries. The  Halesowen branch is home to a dedicated orthopaedic suite and sees a variety of small furries. Both locations are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including referral-level ultrasound with canine and feline cardiology packages, dental X-ray, a fully equipped orthopaedic theatre, and separate feline and canine recovery wards.
They are committed to supporting development and learning, with many of the team currently working towards further qualifications in dentistry, cardiology, ultrasonography, Schedule 3 procedures, and ECC nursing. Whether you’re looking to deepen your existing expertise or embark on new certificate studies, they will provide the funding, time, and clinical support you need.
This position offers a salary of up to £80,000, depending on experience, with the choice of a four or five-day working week. There are no out-of-hours requirements, and you’ll only work one Saturday in four. You’ll benefit from a generous CPD budget of £5,000 with full support for certificate study, six weeks of annual leave including bank holidays, and the option of a sign-on bonus or relocation assistance. Accommodation is also available if required.
They welcome applications from experienced vets as well as confident recent graduates. Above all, they are looking for someone who is proactive, a great team player, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
If you’re ready to join a vibrant, caring, and forward-thinking clinical team, we’d love to hear from you.
