My Client in Epsom is a long-established and well-regarded practice, and are currently looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a warm and welcoming team on a full-time basis. They are equally open to considering part-time applicants who feel they would be a great fit.
They are seeking a confident, proactive vet who enjoys working as part of a supportive community. The position is also suitable for an experienced clinician ready to move into a leadership role, helping guide the practice’s development and future direction.
You will be working closely with a highly experienced Partner of two sites in Epsom (this role is at one site) The wider team includes four veterinary surgeons, seven nurses and four dedicated support colleagues, all committed to delivering high-quality care in a collaborative environment.
The reception area offers separate waiting spaces for dogs and cats, and the practice features two consult rooms. They are fully equipped with an X-ray suite, dental X-ray, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory, enabling them to provide thorough and efficient diagnostics.
The practice is conveniently located just a short walk from Epsom Downs train station, providing easy transport links into central London. The surrounding area is filled with local shops and amenities, ideal for picking up lunch or running errands during the day.
A full-time role consists of a 40-hour week over four days, with participation in a 1-in-6 weekend rota at the hospital site close by, Flexible or part-time working patterns can be arranged for the right candidate. 
This position comes with a comprehensive package of benefits, including private medical insurance and a health cash plan, life assurance at three times your salary and access to confidential counselling and wellbeing support. You’ll receive five weeks of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to six weeks with long service, along with an additional paid “Day for You”. Professional fees for the VDS, RCVS and BVA are covered, and long-service sabbaticals are available. Support is available for candidates requiring a Certificate of Sponsorship or relocation assistance.
