Our client has a large group of successful practice in the Melksham area and are looking for an experienced Small Animal Vet to join them.

Across all branches, there is a large team of 130 employees in total. The group actively encourage staff to develop their skills and knowledge via in-house learning and CPD. There is a referrals service at their nearby hospital.  The larger team includes both Medicine Clinicians and Surgeons. This branch is situated in Melksham in a historic market town located in the beautiful rural Wiltshire, just 6 miles south of Chippenham.

The branch has two consulting rooms, x-ray facilities, a fully equipped operating theatre and practice laboratory. This is a 1 Vet practice with a Registered Veterinary Nurse, a Kennel Assistant, and a reception team onsite. The team pride themselves on their friendly working environment with a focus on staff wellbeing. The client service at Melksham is rated as outstanding by the RCVS.

The role includes both consulting and operating, with some sole charge work at a nearby branch.  The role will include working 3 days per week from 8:30am- 6:30pm plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. There are no out of hours with this role.
