    	        	Our client is looking for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to oversee the daily running of the clinical team across their 2-site small animal practice in Yeovil. If you are looking to advance to the next stage of your career or you are an existing Lead Vet they would love to hear from you.
 
The clinics have a wide client base of small animal, farm, and equine clients in both Somerset and Dorset. Over the years, the practice has expanded with a small animal surgery in Yeovil and equine branches located nearby. The clinic has always strived for the highest in client and animal care, this move increases the resources available to the practice to keep achieving this. There are 10 Veterinary Surgeons, as they are a mixed practice some work between large and small animal caseloads, 5 registered veterinary nurses, 2 Trainee nurses and a support team of 13. Across the sites, they have 2 certificate holders, and they specialise in Laparoscopic spays. They hold regular events for team-building purposes and support local charities, events and shows, and they hold regular meetings for the farming community.
They value the work-life balance of their people and can offer a lot of flexibility in your role. Ideally, they are looking for someone to work a 4.5-day week, with 1:3 Saturday mornings but no OOH!
 
Salary is up to £70k pa DOE.
