Our client’s clinic has an established client base and the team are passionate about providing gold-standard care to clients and their pets. They are now looking for a Senior/Head Vet to join them.

The clinic is conveniently located just off the M20 and easily commutable from London, (just under 1hr). This deceivingly large and airy practice boasts 4 consult rooms; separate patient wards; a dedicated X-ray and ultrasound room; a large modern theatre and a prep room. This is a unique opportunity to join a dedicated team and work in a supportive environment that offers the scope for further development in your chosen area of interest.  You will be joining a 4 Vet practice with a support team consisting of 4 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 ANA and the wonderfully efficient team of Receptionists.  The clinically trained practice principal has over 14 years of experience in the small animal sector, and is dedicated to helping you achieve both personal and professional development without compromise.

The client is committed to supporting their people in releasing their potential and in doing so, they are able to offer the right candidate a dedicated progression pathway (Surgical and/or Medical), with plenty of exposure to enable you to further your career and fuel your passions. In addition, you will have the opportunity to mentor the Vet team, and work closely with the Practice Principal in contributing to the practice's management, organisational and financial performance.

Typically, this position is full-time over 5 days per week, working a combination of early shifts (8 am-4.30 pm) and late shifts (11 am – 7.30 pm), with 1:3 Saturday morning’s only, and no OOH!   

The ideal candidate would have considerable post-graduate experience in Small Animal First Opinion Veterinary Medicine and will either hold, be working towards, or consider a postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject field. Salary is up to £75k pa + welcome bonus of £5k and a relocation allowance of up to £5k if required.
