Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
Are you a passionate and caring RVN looking to join a supportive, friendly team where your skills and ideas will be valued? This practice is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join an amazing practice family.
Led by our experienced Branch Partner —who holds a certificate in Small Animal Surgery—you'll be part of a close-knit, supportive team of 3 vets, a soon-to-qualify student nurse, skilled VCAs, and fantastic Client Care Assistant, and dedicated Practice Manager. They pride themselves on open communication, teamwork, and creating a positive, encouraging workplace where everyone can thrive.
The Practice:
They are lucky to have the facilities and freedom to work up cases thoroughly, with a well-equipped practice featuring:
 New digital x-ray
Ultrasound
Haematology and biochemistry machines
Centrifuge and microscope
They see a varied caseload—about 70% feline, 30% canine—and are busy with both consults and surgeries, while still ensuring you get proper admin time, protected breaks, and a true work-life balance.

Your Role:
Support with surgeries, procedures, and patient care
Carry out nurse-led consults and Schedule 3 procedures
Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
Dispense and check medication
Lead team briefings and support the smooth running of the practice
Help coach and support colleagues, sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm
What You’ll Bring:
RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
A passion for delivering excellent patient and client care
A collaborative team spirit and positive attitude
Confidence in nurse consults and Schedule 3 activities
Experience in mentoring or coaching team members (or a desire to develop this!)
