Are you a dedicated vet looking for a supportive environment where you can develop your skills and explore your areas of interest? My client has an exciting opportunity that could be just what you’re looking for.
Based in the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon, the practice sits in the heart of Warwickshire’s picturesque countryside. Known worldwide as the birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford offers a charming blend of history and beauty, with its Tudor-style buildings, cobblestone streets, and the serene River Avon flowing through the town.
This practice is about to undergo an exciting rebrand, marking a new chapter in their journey. They will have excellent facilities equipped with everything you need to provide outstanding care for your patients. They have earned a strong local reputation and enjoy a varied caseload from a loyal client base. You’ll experience the independence of a small practice with the support of a collaborative and friendly team. Who are committed to helping you achieve your career goals and provide a generous CPD allowance to back that up. Whether you’re looking to complete a postgraduate qualification or a certificate, they can support your professional development every step of the way.
They are seeking a motivated and experienced vet who wants to make a genuine impact on the practice. You’ll help them stay at the forefront of clinical thinking while continuing a mission to always put pets first. To succeed in this role, you’ll need solid surgical and medical skills, some experience in emergency surgery, and the confidence to handle routine consultations and sole charge when required. Excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude are essential.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, including 1 in 4 weekends, with occasional sole charge but no out-of-hours work.
In return, they offer a competitive salary of up to £80,000 FTE (depending on experience), along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes pension, healthcare, paid memberships, a generous holiday allowance, and a CPD budget. You’ll also enjoy excellent career progression opportunities, and visa sponsorship if required — they are proud to be an A+ rated sponsor.
