Registered Veterinary Nurse
My client are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly team in Battersea, London This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts on a rota basis between 8:30am–4:30pm or 11am–7pm. You’ll also take part in the Saturday rota (1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 9am–1pm), with a weekday off in return. Importantly, there is no out-of-hours work.
This role will see you involved in every aspect of patient care. You’ll monitor patients before and after surgery, provide support under anaesthetic and sedation, administer drugs and injections, and prepare animals for theatre. You’ll also assist with x-rays, perform diagnostic tests using the in-house Idexx lab, and carry out nurse consults while offering valuable advice to clients. From maintaining surgical equipment to keeping kennels clean and comfortable, your focus will be on ensuring the highest standards of care and wellbeing for every patient.
They are looking for someone who can work well both independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to support the development of Student Nurse and VCA colleagues. A friendly, approachable manner with clients is just as important as your clinical skills, and the ability to lend a hand on reception when needed is a real bonus.
In return, they offer a competitive salary of up to £32,000 per annum (depending on experience), along with a fantastic range of benefits.
