Our clients clinic near Bearsden is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to provide excellent clinical care for their patients and support the veterinary team.
Your day-to-day duties and responsibilities will include carrying out consultations, theatre work, lab diagnostics, assisting with radiographs, assisting with laparoscopic procedures, maintaining stock, assisting with client queries. You will enjoy working as part of a busy team and possess the confidence to work within a smaller team as the position may require the successful candidate to support the local branch clinics if requested.
Ideally, this will be a full-time permanent role, working 38 hours per week over 5 days, with the option to condense these hours over 4 days if preferred. The shifts will be varied between 8:30am-7:00pm Monday-Friday. You will be included in a share of 1 in 3 weekends (Saturday) and no out of hours. The client is open to part time candidates looking to work around their lifestyle. Salary is up to £30k pa DOE.
The group has been established since 1990 and they are a busy 3-site practice with Tier 2 RCVS accreditation. Their mission is to provide outstanding conventional and holistic care from a local friendly and caring team. Their services include laparoscopy, dental radiography, ultrasonography including specialist input, endoscopy, digital radiography, laser therapy and acupuncture, stem cell therapy and a consultancy homeopathic service.
This a forward thinking, proactive team who care about their clients, patients, and each other. They actively promote a healthy mindset and wellbeing giving each other support both professionally and personally. This a team of 30, made up of 10 vets, 7 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 9 CCA's and other admin support staff. There is a visiting homeopath consultant and visiting ultrasonographer. They also proudly support their local communities and provide support at local galas and charity events.
