Our client in Burton-on-Trent have an opportunity for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join their team of two veterinary surgeons.  This is a part time role and our client has some flexibility as to how that is worked, ideally they are looking in the region of 24 hours.

In addition the the veterinary team, there is also a team of four on the nursing side including students.

The practice is a well equipped first opinion practice with an established, loyal client base.  They are equipped with everything required to deliver excellent patient care, digital x-ray, ultrasound, lab facilities etc.  The lead vet, who recently bought the practice is very popular with her clients and has seen the business grow significantly since she took over and is now recruiting to meet the additional demand.

The practice has a busy surgical caseload and an interest in imaging.  Further training in this field can be offered.

This part time veterinary surgeon vacancy would suit a vet with a minimum of 12 months experience, but they must be happy with some routine soft issue surgeries, cat and dog neuters fir instance.  They should also be happy with their own medical work ups.  There will be limited sole charge with this role, but applicants should be happy to work sole charge as and when required.

The package for this role is:
  • Upto £55,000 (full time equivalent)
