 Night Veterinary Surgeon – 24-Hour Hospital, Oxfordshire
7 nights on, 21 nights off – the ultimate work-life balance

This is an exciting Night Vet position on a 7-on, 21-off rota, giving you maximum flexibility for travel, leisure, further study—or even picking up locum shifts if desired. This averages just 24.5 hours per week, and the pro-rated salary is up to £52,000 per year.
Your responsibilities will include:
•    Managing inpatients in the hospital
•    Handling emergency and out-of-hours cases from a group of local referring practices
•    Working independently as the sole Vet on shift, supported by an experienced RVN and ANA
•    Completing thorough handovers (shift starts at 7:00 PM and ends at 9:00 AM)
Whether you’re already working toward an ECC certificate or would like to start one, fully funded studies and support are available

•    RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
•    Comfortable working sole charge on night shifts
•    Strong communication and handover skills
•    A passion for ECC and delivering high standards of care
•    Team player with a proactive and calm approach
