Candidates should have GP interests and be happy with routine surgical and medical cases. It is expected that candidates will have 3 years or more experience. If they have interests in starting a certificate, this will be funded by our client. The role will initially be a single vet role so candidates should enjoy being the face of a practice an happy to work as the sole charge vet. It is expected that this practice will grow to employ additional veterinary surgeons.
The practice is well equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, k-laser etc. For more complex equipment needs such as CT, this is available at the hospital 45 minutes away.
This is a leadership role which not only includes clinical work but also some administrative and business development responsibilities. For areas that are new, support will be provided.
