My Client are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their passionate and supportive team at a well-established, community-focused hospital in Lancashire. This permanent, full-time role offers the chance to work within a busy hospital environment. This position is particularly suited to a vet with a strong interest in hospital-based work, especially in the management of complex medical cases and inpatients. They are especially keen to hear from those with a medical certificate, significant experience in internal medicine, or those working towards further qualifications. Your expertise will help shape the development of the hospital services and raise the standard of inpatient care. They have a full night team to complement your patient care. 
They have a surgery certificate holder who carries out orthopaedics and the hospital are seeking hospital status and have several vets studying for certificates, so it won’t be long before this is achieved
The role involves 40 hours per week, split across a mix of early and late shifts between 8:30am and 7:30pm.  You will have a split of 3 days working on Inpatient care and one consulting day. You’ll also be part of the weekend rota, covering one in six full weekends. With access to a varied caseload, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and take on a fulfilling clinical challenge. They have 2 RVN’s trained in Ultrasound and have access to VidiVet so you can benefit from their knowledge. They have full lab digital and dental Xray and much more

You will be joining a welcoming team led by a Partner and Practice Manager, The wider hospital team includes six vets, seven day RVNs, three night RVNs, four client care assistants and one veterinary care assistant.
