From direct digital radiography and ultrasonography with doppler capabilities to in-house laboratory services, ECG, dental radiography, endoscopy, laparoscopic surgical equipment, and a comprehensive range of orthopaedic surgical tools.  They are now looking a Small Animal Vet to join them.

There are 16 Veterinary Surgeons, 22 RVNs, 3 SVNs, 10 auxiliary nurses, and 11 receptionists across the branches, you'll be immersed in a dynamic learning environment. Many of their vets hold certificates in specialties like surgery, cardiology, and diagnostic imaging. They encourage frequent case discussions, ensuring you'll always have someone to exchange insights with and receive valuable advice. Their  commitment to your growth extends to supporting your chosen areas of interest through further study and CPD opportunities.

Your role will encompass a dynamic mix of consulting, surgeries, medical procedures, imaging, and dentistry. Furthermore, they're all about embracing your unique interests, providing you with the opportunity to focus on your area of interest if that's your passion. As you split your time between the main hospital in Gateshead and local branches nearby, you'll truly get to experience the diverse aspects of the practice and their caseloads.

They’re seeking a passionate, RCVS-registered veterinary surgeon to enhance the team dynamic. The full time role is for 41 hours per week on average, 37 hours per week across 4 days (Monday-Friday) with an exclusive set day off during the week,  they do their own OOH and have OOH vets for this, however they do have a weekend shared rota of 1:6 full weekend (7:45am-6:15pm) and 1:6 Saturday mornings (9am-12pm)  that you will cover with no nightshift commitments. Weekend hours are negotiable for part time candidates.

Salary is up to £75k pa DOE, plus a welcome bonus of £5k and a relocation allowance of up to £5k if required.
