Our client has a small, friendly 1st opinion practice based in the beautiful East Devon, close to the sea and countryside. They are looking for a Full or Part Time Small Animal vet to join them.
The practice has recently been refurbished with digital x-ray and dental x-ray equipment, as well as a small branch practice 30 minutes East of Exeter. They are proud to be RCVS Practice Standards and nurse training practice. All the RVN nurses have trained and stayed on with them. All interest are encouraged and the practice is happy for fund CPD. There is a a lovely friendly client base and continuity of care is encouraged. The practice do a lot of work for local charities including the Cats Protection and Greyhound Rescue. They support the local rugby team and are often asked to judge at local dog shows.
The team is made up of 4 FTE Veterinary Surgeons, 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 1 student RVN as well as 4 support staff.
You must be a RCVS qualified Veterinary Surgeon with some post qualification experience. You will undertake an equal mix of consultations and operating each week. This is a fairly small but very experienced team, so this allows for case consistency and to develop productive relationships with the loyal client base. The client has a flexible approach so is open to Full or Part Time hours to suit the candidates need.
Salary is up to £65k pa DOE, + a £5k welcome bonus and £5k relocation bonus if required.
