Our client is based near Walsall and are growing and are now looking for a full or part time Small Animal Vet to join them.

The practice has great facilities including 3 consult rooms, cat ward, dog ward, operating theatre, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound and access to endoscope if needed. Working alongside the wonderful nurse team, there are 2 vets who have been qualified for 7 years. They hold the ISFM silver award for cat care. One vet has a post graduate certificate and another in Feline medicine. Within practice they also have SignalPet which uses artificial intelligence to provide support interpreting radiographs.  The team work at the highest standard of care and have regular team meetings to help them to all grow and improve their knowledge. They are looking at increasing the amount of nurse consults that they preform, like weight clinics and diabetic clinics. The nurses are very knowledgeable with a few certificates between them, these include ECC, Ncert in medicine, Fear Free cert, Ncert in consulting and the ISFM qualification. The team have regular outings and wellness days, are very friendly and easy to get along with. There are always regular snacks in the kitchen and an Alexa for music in prep and you will regularly hear the  team singing along.

The client is flexible in what they can offer and are open to a role that will suit you and your clinical interests. They are keen to ensure that all of their clinical staff’s development is including full certificate support for those that wish to undertake it. Also, vets with less clinical experience are encouraged to apply as they have the resources to allow you to grow as a clinician.  Although this advert is for a full-time position, they would consider any flexible working request and part time hours for the right candidate. A typical full-time role would involve working 40 hours per week over 4 days, with our shared Saturday rota. There’s no on call or out of hours required.
