Join our progressive and patient-focused veterinary practice based across the Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire border (High Wycombe, Hazlemere, and Watlington) as they search for a compassionate and forward-thinking Vet to join the team!

About the Role: The team are sad to bid farewell to one of their longstanding vets who's relocating to Scotland, which means they are on the lookout for a new team member to join their dynamic practice. While they'd be particularly interested in applicants with a surgical bias, what matters most to them is finding someone who shares their passion for exceptional patient care. At their practice, they take pride in serving Stokenchurch Dog Rescue and numerous local and national charities, reflecting their commitment to the welfare of animals in the community.

Flexible Rota Patterns: As a VetsNow host practice, they provide high-level 24/7 care to their patients without requiring out-of-hours work. The rota includes working 3 in 7 Saturday mornings, with the practice closing at midday, and no Sundays. They prioritize work-life balance and are open to discussing various flexible working patterns to accommodate the needs of their staff, whether it's a full-time (40-hour week) or part-time position.

About Us: They foster a nurturing environment with a strong focus on colleague support and continuous development. With a team of 10 vets boasting a diverse range of abilities and strengths, from new graduates to advanced practitioners, they’re committed to nurturing talent and encouraging professional growth. The 12-strong nursing team and dedicated veterinary care assistants play an integral role in the practice, and they take pride in being a longstanding nurse training facility. They actively support the team members in pursuing their passions, resulting in the development of nurse-led clinics and advancements in patient care.
The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including portable ultrasonography, digital radiography (including dental radiography), endoscopy, rigid scopes, and extensive in-house labs across all sites. They're always open to ideas on how to enhance the facilities and services they offer.
