Our client has a group of 8 practices close to Burton upon Trent, they are now looking for a Full or Part Time Small Animal Vet to join them.

The client has a Tier 3 accredited hospital and 7 practice sites – all branches are accredited by the RCVS under the Practice Standards Scheme. There is a talented and close knit team of 5 Veterinary Surgeons, supported by an exceptional team of Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Veterinary Nurses, Veterinary Care Assistant and Client Care Advisors.  This provides the ideal opportunity to further develop the service they provide around your strengths and build your own client base. Within the team there is a medicine and surgery certificate holder and another working towards their imaging Certificate. 

The practice is well equipped with digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, two theatres and four consulting rooms.  The main hospital provides the out of hours care and hospitalisation facilities which also includes CT scanner, MRI, Advanced Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Digital X-ray, Dental radiography, and multiple surgical suites, as well as an onsite hydrotherapy & rehabilitation centre and benefits from a multi-disciplinary specialist led referral service. 

There are great transport links to the rest of the country with trains running to London, Nottingham, Birmingham and Leeds to name a few making it an ideal location for visiting friends and family and East Midlands airport is just 30 minutes away.

The client is open to both part-time and full-time applications for this role as they can accommodate both, they support the team in their work life balance.
-    A salary of up to £63,000 for 40 hours per week (pro rata for part time) DOE.
-    A welcome bonus of up to £5000 (pro rata)
-    Relocation support of up to £5000
