Our client’s main surgery near Newport Pagnell is just off the M1 J14 with easy access and lots to do in the local town. They are now looking for a full or part time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team.

The team generally live within the Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire areas with easy travel in to work. At the surgery there is a large staff parking area and staff rest room, digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, laboratory, separate dog and cat ward, and a vivarium for exotics. There is a 1 sterile theatre and a separate dedicated dental suite.
They think they have the very best clients who regularly supply them with baked goodies as a thank you for their services.

This is a supportive and caring team, with 8 Veterinary Surgeons, 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 3 Student Veterinary Nurses and 1 Veterinary Care Assistant. There is a dedicated customer care team made up of 12 staff members. There are 2 x medicine certificate holders and 1 x exotic certificate holder. With this, they see a variety of amazing species to include reptiles, rodents, avian and small mammal.  This is a family-feel practice with many staff having been here 15-30 years. They enjoy days out together from woodland walks with coffee and cake, to evening dinner parties.

They are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to carry out tasks to include consultations, theatre, diagnostics and inpatient care. Clinical coaching opportunities are also available. Applicants will also be happy to work on rotation at a nearby small consulting branch surgery.
This is a full-time role working Monday - Friday with 2 in 6 Saturday mornings (8am - 2pm), and 1 Friday off every 6 weeks. Part time applicants will also be considered for a minimum of 30 hours per week with some flexibility on shifts and 2 in 6 Saturday mornings. The out of hours care is provided by Vets Now, all patients are transferred by the nursing team and therefore a full UK driving license is required.
