Our client based on the outskirts of Coventry is looking for an experienced Small Animal Vet to join their team.
The practice has a very supportive and close-knit team. All of the vets and nurses are passionate about delivering the best possible treatment for the animals brought into their care. The team appreciate that every pet's recovery depends not only on the treatment that they receive, but also the care that comes with it. The practice have everything they need to treat client’s animals with the best possible care at the surgery, including excellent facilities X-ray, ultrasound, diagnostic equipment, full dentistry kit and an operating theatre. The practice has a varied day, which consisting of both consultations and operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in small animal surgery, especially routine operations: neutering, dental descale and extractions, lump removals etc. You would be working a 4-day week, 1: 3 Saturdays and no OOH. The client has a flexible approach and therefore is open to applications from part time candidates. There is also the opportunity for development and progression both clinically and for a leadership/management role.
This is a full time role for 4 weeks per week, weekends on a shared fair rota but there are no out of hours or Bank Holidays.
The ideal candidate will be:
• Confident
• Enthusiastic
• Have strong communication skills
• Experience in small animal practice
• A full clean driving licence holder
• MRCVS registered
The client would like a to find a Veterinary Surgeon that is wanting to be a part of a strong and well-established team, with a positive attitude and a drive to bring something new to the team. Salary is up to £75k pa DOE.
