Our client has been very proudly caring for the pets of South Manchester for the last 60 years and is fortunate to have a lovely client base and good reputation. They are now looking for an RVN who is passionate about Feline Nursing.

The team works cohesively, and they are looking for someone with the same ethos.  This is a supportive, caring, busy practice with fantastic teamwork. They are lucky to have great clients and a wide variety of patients. Their aim is to provide a high standard of veterinary care, and they have a great local reputation. The team prides themselves on giving honest advice and they don’t work to targets.

The clinic is RCVS silver accredited, and rabbit welfare silver accredited. They are staffed 24 hours a day for improved patient welfare and client care (there is a dedicated OOH team of vets/nurses, as well as auxillary nurses who look after their in-patients OOH).  The practice is well-equipped both for cat and dog patients, as well as their more exotic patients that means they can cater for most patient’s needs.

The client is looking for an enthusiastic RVN to work here 8am-6/7pm on Tuesday and Thursday as these are the days they operate. They have 1 experienced vet work each day who consults 9am- 10:30am, operates and then consults again 4pm-7pm. This role includes reception work and admits in the morning as well as setting up for procedures and pharmacy/ consult support. Working alongside a receptionist or auxiliary nurse 10:30-7:30pm. You would be doing anaesthetics with the vet from 10:45am, having your lunch break, cover the desk while the other staff member gets their lunch and then focus on patient care, pricing records, cleaning, sterilisation, restocking etc.  4pm-6/7pm discharges and nurse clinics, plus cleaning up/restocking clinical and none clinical areas. They are open to full or part time applicants.

They are seeking a friendly, organised, adaptable, and dependable individual who is self-motivating and can work independently as well as in a team.
