Are you a veterinary surgeon looking for a new challenge? This family owned and fiercely independent new practice are seeking to recruit a vet to grow their new business which prioritizes pets over profit.
Located in the market town of Stafford, this practice offers an exceptional opportunity for a vet to help shape and direct this new business venture alongside the family team.
You would be working alongside another vet and a team of great support staff who are all excited to be part of this new venture. Ideally they are looking for someone who is happy to handle the majority of the routine surgeries and possibly enjoy a little mentoring in the area. The main vet is very much medical biased so this would complement the team
You will need to be an experienced vet with the ability to work autonomously as this role may involve a small amount of sole charge occasionally.
The role is completeley flexible and can be full or part time and can work around your lifestyle, whether that is school hours only or other commitments outside of work. But on top of that there are NO WEEKENDS and NO OOH’s
The practice is newly furbished with outstanding equipment needed for a first opinion practice, with ultrasound, dental kit, in-house IDEXX lab and fully equipped theatre. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients during consultations, emergency treatments, and procedures.
• Provide outstanding customer care, offering clear updates and advice to clients.
• Ensure professional excellence by adhering to regulatory standards and best practice guidelines.
• Develop and implement accurate, tailored treatment plans with transparent cost estimates.
Key Requirements:
• RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Veterinary Surgeon (or confident with at least 12 months of experience).
They offer a salary of up around £60-65k depending on experience and also provide other benefits, as well as the benefit of working in an independent team
